Starting in 2003, BHC became involved in the City’s efforts to provide child care opportunities for Burbank parents. BHC now operates two nationally accredited child care centers, the Peter McGrath Child Development Center and the Mary Alice O’Connor Family Center.

Between the two, the Centers provide 180 spaces of child care for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. Our child care centers focus on providing an Early Foundations curriculum and purposeful play to cultivate valuable learning skills. The program itself is operated by KinderCare Education at Work, a subsidiary of KinderCare, the nation’s largest and premier provider of Child Care services.

20% of the spaces at our child care centers are reserved at discounted tuition rates for lower-income families that qualify. For more information on tuition rates, please contact the Mary Alice O’Connor Family Center or the Peter McGrath Child Development Center.
